Capitol City Associates, Inc. (Capitol City) is a minority, female-owned professional consulting firm. Established in 1999, Capitol City has spent over twenty years specializing in construction management services; maximizing public engagement on economic development initiatives; managing affirmative action requirements on construction projects; ensuring compliance with Federal and local regulations regarding the inclusion of local, small, minority or disadvantaged businesses participation and coordinating local employment and training opportunities.  Capitol City also provides technical support in planning, promoting and conducting special events, conferences, meetings, seminars and other public forums.  Capitol City’s maintains a corporate office in the Anacostia section of the District of Columbia (Ward 8)

The mission of Capitol City based on the philosophy of self-determination, is: (1) to promote community empowerment and business development opportunities in the Washington, DC Metropolitan Area; (2) to ensure compliance with laws and regulations governing the procurement of local, minority, small, disadvantaged, women-owned and veteran-owned business enterprises and (3) to assist the delivery of workforce development and skill-training services to persons unemployed, under-employed, hard-to-employ or seeking a career change.
